Service Advisor

Immediate Opening for Service Advisor! Top Pay!

Centereach Hyundai is now hiring an experienced full-time Service Advisor. This is a great opportunity to join one of the area’s newest dealerships!

We require an enthusiastic and reliable team player with a positive attitude who is willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Prior experience is required. We are looking for the “best of the best” and will pay top dollar for a high-performing, results-driven individual.

Preferred applicants must have a neat and clean appearance; excellent customer service and communication skills; excel in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, and possess computer skills. Must be available to work some evenings and Saturdays.

We are conveniently located on Middle Country Rd in Centereach and easily accessible. Plus, our service department and service bays are air-conditioned and heated!

Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide estimate repairs to customers
• Communicate with customers regarding appointments, repairs, scheduled maintenance, etc
• Provide assistance and support to the service manager
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Maintain an organized, clean work area

Job requirements include the following:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

• Excellent knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance

Service Dispatcher

Automotive Service Dispatcher

Centereach Hyundai is looking for an experienced, results-focused Automotive Service Dispatcher for our dealership.

You will be responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for these technicians. This position is Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Job Description:

• Distribute service work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy
• Assign work to the correct technician level
• Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines
• Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly
• Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms
  Maintain a record of carryover vehicles
• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
• Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion
• Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills!
• Assists in all other areas of the Service Department
• Achieves the production objectives set by management
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions

Job Requirements

• Automotive Service Dispatcher or Automotive Technician Experience Required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license
• Experience – min. 5 years preferred

Automotive A-B Service Technician

Centereach Hyundai is looking to hire an A-B Technician to add to our busy newly renovated Service Department. At Centereach Hyundai you will receive support and resources to further your professional growth. SIGNING BONUS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Duties include:

• Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched.
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning in accordance with Center and Factory standards.
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.
• Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
• Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Employer’s values in all interactions.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• ASE certified preferred
• Must be positive, enthusiastic, self-motivating and have the ability to work well with others
